Quick and Easy Handmade Card Featuring Painted Poppies Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. Here's a fun card that I want to show you. I love the Painted Poppies Stamp Set, but you could change this up with any stamp set from your collection.  Take a minute to gather the supplies listed below and give this card a try.

Three (3) things I love about this card for our #staysafe #stayhome days:

1. Technique: Instead of coloring these poppies with your Stampin' Blends or Stampin' Write Markers, ink up the smudge stamp in this set, "stamp off" some of the ink for a second generation stamp and stamp over the poppy image. It is not perfect coverage, but isn't it cute! So pretty.
2. Background Stamping:  I love the field of poppies stamp. It makes an awesome background!!
3. Designer Series Paper (DSP): The strip of DSP (since retired, frowny face) is cut 2" x 5 1/2" and ties this card together. Pick a card base that color coordinates with your DSP and take your cardmaking up a notch.

June Online Workshop
I will be holding an online workshop on Saturday, April 20 - like as if we were having our regular workshop in person! The card will be based on the paper cuts set out below. If you need help finding me on Facebook, message me.

July Workshop
Not sure if it will be online or in person, but I plan to use the Jar of Flowers bundle (a bundle from the Flowers for Every Season Suite) from the New 2020-21 Annual Catalog (pp. 10-13). The bundle pricing it is a little less painful on the wallet. Use the June Host Code to purchase your own stamp set/punch. If you order the bundle, I will send you card kit packets in the mail. Then if we do meet in person (really not sure that in person will happen), I will bring them to class. This will be so fun for us all.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not already have an online account, when you set up your account, PLEASE be sure to NOT click "no contact" as I will not be able to send you your free card kit packets.

As always, thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you and your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it!.

Stamp On!!
