This card features the beautiful floral arrangement in a brown milk jug. I added the color to the floral arrangement with Blender Pens (see my supplies list below). Along the edge is the repeated square image in Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have enjoyed another card using the Country Home Stamp Set. I know that I have enjoyed sharing it with you!

October Simple Stamping Challenge Using Country Home Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. Last week on my blog I featured a quick and easy handmade card using the Country Home Stamp Set (click HERE in case you missed it). It was my submission for the monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop I participate in with several other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. It is a fun group of demonstrators from the US and other countries and we have a great time showing you (and each other) our ideas, tips and tricks.

Today I thought it might be fun to try a Simple Stamping Challenge by Stamping Up a/k/a #simplestamping. The October challenge is to create a card using stamps, ink, paper, and punches. The theme is "Thank You."
Challenge, Country Home, Punches, #simplestamping
My card features the beautiful floral arrangement on the "inside" of a Whisper White Note Card and I used the 2" circle punch on the front panel to create negative space, i.e. the peek-a-boo effect (hum, really hard to see in this photo though, my apologies). I finished the opening with a frame of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock double-punched with the 2-1/4" and 2" circle punches. Color is added to the floral arrangement with a Blender Pen and several ink pads (see the supplies list below). An alternative would have been to use the Stampin' Write Markers or the Stampin' Blends, however, I was unsure if Markers or Blends would be considered "ink" under the rules of the challenge.
Challenge, Country Home, Punches, #simplestamping
This photo is the original design. It is exactly the same as the card above except it eliminates the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock frame around the peek-a-boo effect and the edges are sponged with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have enjoyed my #simplestamping card featuring the Country Home Stamp Set. I know that I have enjoyed sharing it with you.

October Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the October Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Once again I am participating in this blog hop with several fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the United States, Australia and United Kingdom. You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Sue Boerner's blog. Welcome one and all.

This month's theme is Fall or Thanksgiving so I have chosen the Country Home stamp set (AC p. 95). This beautiful floral arrangement showcases the Stampin' Blends. See a full list of the colors below.

The crosshatch effect in the background was created by swiping Balmy Blue ink across the Subtle 3D embossing folder and running it through the die cutting machine twice - once in portrait mode and once in landscape. PS: I did mask the finished milk jug image first.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my card featuring Country Home Stamp Set. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations. Do not forget to check out the great project by our next blog hopper, Sue McDonald.

Easy Handmade Holiday Card Using Stampin' Up! Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set Bundle

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope everyone is having a "perfectly" fantastic day today. It is the first Wednesday of October and, as promised, I am featuring a holiday card to help inspire you to get started on your holiday cards. My quick and simple card today features the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and coordinating Pine Tree Punch introduced in the new 2019 Holiday Catalog (pp. 13, 14).

Once again this is a fairly basic design concept. The square is Shaded Spruce (cut 3" x 3") and topped with two gold foil pine trees and the tree punched from the center of a 3" x 3" piece of the new Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper (HC p. 14). If you carefully punch the tree, you can make a beautiful second card.
