September Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope everyone had a fun, crafting weekend. Today I wanted to share an alternate card using the September Paper Pumpkin kit.

The card base is a top fold A2 (8 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4", cut at 5 1/2") in Mango Melody cardstock. The mat is Cajun Craze (cut 4" x 5 1/4"). All of the build pieces are from the Hello Pumpkin kit. I just love the pre-cut pumpkins, flowers and leaves in fall colors.

Be sure to break out your crafting spirit this Saturday, October 3, for World Cardmaking Day. #WCMD2020 I am planning to craft that morning so log into Facebook page and send me a message with a picture of your craft projects.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you so I can find your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it.

Stamp On!!

Simple Stamping Challenge Featuring Pine Tree Punch

Hello, my crafty friends. What crafty projects have you been working on this past week? The Simple Stamping Challenge for September is to create a holiday or New Year's card with only stamps, ink, paper, and punches!! Yes-s-s-s!! Punches!! Punches are one of my favorite crafting tools. They really take your project up a notch. For today's card I used my favorite punch - Pine Tree Punch - and two circle punches (2 1/2" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch). I highly recommend for your collection all of the circle punches for quick layering.
#simplestamping

The card base is a side fold A2 (8 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4", cut at 5 1/2") in Mossy Meadow cardstock. I created my own pattern paper using the "HO HO HO" sentiment stamp from the Perfectly Paired Stamp set (Whisper White cardstock/Mossy Meadow ink) for the top piece and the Buffalo Check Background Stamp (Mossy Meadow cardstock/Tuxedo Black ink) for the lower piece. The collection of punched pine trees (Whisper White cardstock/Mossy Meadow, Mossy Meadow cardstock) are staggered along the lower left side.

The tree tops along the bottom of the "Merry Christmas" sentiment make this card super cute (Whisper White and Real Red cardstock/Real Red ink/Mossy Meadow ink).

Give this super #simplestamping card a try!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you so I can find your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it.

September Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the September Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from across the globe! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Sue McDonald's blog (great project, Sue!). Welcome one and all.

The theme this month is punches!! How lucky can I be? I have been featuring cards and projects using punches exclusively ever since we began the lockdown for the pandemic since many of my class-attending, now virtual class-attending customers prefer punches over dies.

For my cards today I am using 4 basic punches (2 each card for a layering effect) that I highly recommend everyone should have in their collection, plus the Pine Tree Punch, which coordinates with the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set (AC p. 60). The first card uses the 2 1/4" and 2" circle punches (AC p. 165) for the sentiment build, and the second card uses the Heart Punch Pack which is a current bundle too (AC p. 168, Heartfelt Bundle).
Card #1

Card #2

The DSP is Heartwarming Hugs from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog (MC p. 9). Super adorable patterned paper - it was too hard to resist for me!

As always, thank you for stopping by my blog today! These cards are fairly simple to recreate, but if you need measurements, just let me know. Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you and your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it!

Do not forget to check out the great project by our next blog hopper, Maureen Rauchfuss.

Quick and Easy Handmade Card Featuring By The Dock Stamp Set v2.0

Hello, my crafty friends! This week I have created another quick and easy, or simple stamping card using the By The Dock stamp set. We will be creating this card together on our virtual workshop via Facebook Live (my business page, Saturday, September 19). All the cards will be using the By The Dock Stamp Set.

The dock is inked in Early Espresso and stamped slightly off the bottom left side of the front panel (Whisper White CS, cut 5" x 3 3/4"). I used the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker to color the dock. The waves are inked in Balmy Blue. I stopped the waves about midway in order to leave room for the sentiment. The sentiment die is from the Well Written dies, but you could use any stamp sentiment.

The boat is also inked in Early Espresso and stamped on a piece of Whisper White CS (cut 3" x 2"). I used the Night of Navy and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers to color the boat. The waves are again stamped in Balmy Blue. The panel is a build on Early CS and Balmy Blue CS, graduating in 1/8" increments, and adhered to the top right side of the front panel using dimensionals. Maybe too many birds? Or should there be more? No fussy cutting this time around.

Here's a picture of the inside panel and sentiment.

The By The Dock stamp set has been a very popular stamp set with my customers. If you did not order this stamp set (AC p. 112 | bundle pricing no longer available), hurry and place your order today so that you have it in time for the workshop on the 19th. The September Host Code and my personal product share bonus is listed below.

As always, thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you and your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it!

Quick and Easy Handmade Card Featuring By the Dock Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends! I truly hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday. As you know, I have changed my workshops and blog format to accommodate the new ways we are "gathering" to craft. Our virtual workshop via Facebook Live on my business page (Saturday, September 19) will be all about the By The Dock Stamp Set and making quick and easy, or simple stamping cards. This has been a very popular stamp set with my customers. If you did not order this stamp set (previously a bundle), hurry and place your order today so that you have it in time for the workshop on the 19th. The September Host Code and my personal product share bonus is listed below. Let's take a look at my card.

For this card, I have used the main images from the stamp set. On the front panel, the dock is tucked into the scalloped circle frame and hangs just a tad off the right side of the circle build. The front panel of Crumb Cake is cut down to 2 1/2" (removing 1 3/4" to reveal the inside panel). The panel mat is a beautiful strip of the Just Jade from the 2020-22 In Color 6" x 6" DSP (cut 2" x 5") layered on a Misty Moonlight strip (cut 2 1/4" x 5 1/4").

For the inside, I created a row of oars along the left side. On the right is a strip from the B side of a sheet from the Flowers for Every Season 6" x 6" DSP. The row boat (as well as the dock) were stamped on Crumb Cake with Memento Ink. The dock is colored using the Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends and the boat is colored with the Light Real Red Stampin' Blends. (The dock and the boat were fussy cut, but the coordinating Dockside dies would certainly be an asset!) Here's a full picture of the inside panel.

As always, thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you and your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it!.
