Simple Stamping Challenge Featuring Pine Tree Punch

Hello, my crafty friends. What crafty projects have you been working on this past week? The Simple Stamping Challenge for September is to create a holiday or New Year's card with only stamps, ink, paper, and punches!! Yes-s-s-s!! Punches!! Punches are one of my favorite crafting tools. They really take your project up a notch. For today's card I used my favorite punch - Pine Tree Punch - and two circle punches (2 1/2" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch). I highly recommend for your collection all of the circle punches for quick layering.

The card base is a side fold A2 (8 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4", cut at 5 1/2") in Mossy Meadow cardstock. I created my own pattern paper using the "HO HO HO" sentiment stamp from the Perfectly Paired Stamp set (Whisper White cardstock/Mossy Meadow ink) for the top piece and the Buffalo Check Background Stamp (Mossy Meadow cardstock/Tuxedo Black ink) for the lower piece. The collection of punched pine trees (Whisper White cardstock/Mossy Meadow, Mossy Meadow cardstock) are staggered along the lower left side.

The tree tops along the bottom of the "Merry Christmas" sentiment make this card super cute (Whisper White and Real Red cardstock/Real Red ink/Mossy Meadow ink).

Give this super #simplestamping card a try!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you so I can find your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it.

Stamp On!!
