Holiday Card Wrap Up

Welcome to an unscheduled post showcasing a couple of the cards from this holiday season.

The Farmhouse Christmas Bundle includes the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set and the Farmhouse Framelits Dies. The Festive Farmhouse Suite was featured in my gift packing projects for the December Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from across the globe. Click here to go directly to the post. I also used this collection/suite for my family holiday cards.

The card is a CASE (copy and share everything) from the card in the 2018 Holiday Catalog, p. 12. I made a few minor tweaks to make it my own -- full card front, added falling snow and the sentiment is on the front of the card.

The Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set (2017 Holiday Catalog Bundle) was my go to for gift tags this year, however, the truck/tree stamp from Farmhouse Christmas was my favorite pick for the guys' presents.

The Making Christmas Bright Bundle includes the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set and the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch. This card was already posted on Instagram/Facebook. I think this one was my all time favorite.  So many possibilities.

As always, please leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations. I would love to see them.

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. I wish you Peace and Happiness in the New Year.

Pretty Holiday Packaging Ideas Featuring Festive Farmhouse Suite

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the December Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the United States and United Kingdom! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Katie Johnson's blog. Welcome one and all.

The Festive Farmhouse Suite caught my eye first pass through the Holiday catalog. Super cute! I love the cute little bows the die cut piece makes - 6 in one pass. YAY!! All of my holiday cards, gift tags and packaging this season have at least a smidge of something from this set.

Pretty Holiday Packaging Ideas Featuring Festive Farmhouse Suite

For the gals at the office, a gift card fits nicely in our mini pizza boxes. These are all dressed up with Under the Mistletoe DSP and the Merry Christmas stamp from Farmhouse Christmas. I even colored the cute little Festive Farmhouse Elements!

For my club members (small gifts of embellishments and accessories to thank them for supporting me this past year), I mixed it up between the mini pizza boxes and the super cute crates made with the wood crate framelit I used the sponge brayer in Real Red ink to color one of the medium shades of wood grain from the Wood Textures 6x6 Designer Series Paper.

Holiday Card Blog Hop Featuring Dashing Deer and Detailed Deer Thinlits

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the November Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States and United Kingdom! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Tracey Gouraud's blog. Welcome one and all.

I was unable to participate in last month's Fall/Thanksgiving themed blog hop; things just kept getting in the way of my design time so I am really excited to present my project for this month's blog hop featuring holiday cards and projects. But first, can you even believe that it is time to be preparing for the holidays? I don't know about you, but this year has flown by for me.

In my opinion, the Dashing Deer stamp set/bundle is the sleeper bundle of the Holiday catalog. I must admit, this stamp set/bundle was not close to the top of my wish list at all, however, it took the vision of one of my monthly stampers to show me that we could do a lot with this bundle. The Buffalo Check Background Stamp is so versatile (and I sure hope it carries over). Although the Holiday catalog runs through the end of the year, the coordinating thinlits (Detailed Deer Thinlits, Item # 147915) are on the low inventory list. (Hurry!) Notice the sentiment is from the Labels to Love stamp set that was introduced in the Holiday Catalog last year and carried over to the Annual Catalog. And don't you LOVE the Buffalo Check background stamp from the Holiday Catalog.

This card came to me literally while shopping during our trip to Highlands, North Carolina, in October. While window shopping, I saw this beautiful sweater. It was the same color as Stampin' Up!'s new color, Merry Merlot, featured on this card. The upper half of the sweater was solid and the lower half of the sweater was the plaid pattern of the Buffalo Check Background stamp. (Lightbulb moment!)  Here's a snapshot of the inside sentiment:

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  Now let's see what my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators have in store to prepare you for the holidays. Click on the "Next" button below to visit Sue Kremer's blog.

NOW FOR SOME BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The November Hostess Code was abruptly closed to facilitate the low inventory status of some products from the Holiday catalog. A new Hostess Code has been created to finish out the month in order to take advantage of the Online Extravaganza scheduled to coincide with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, November 23 through November 28. Please use this Hostess Code - KJMJUDTJ - unless your order already qualifies for Stampin' Rewards ($150 USD). Unless it is determined that it is not possible under the rules of the Online Extraavaganza which have not been announced yet, this Hostess Code will remain available through December 17.

Looking forward to seeing your creations using the November Pumpkin kit!! This kit is really going to step up our holiday card making this year. LOVE IT!!

September Blog Hop Featuring Sheltering Tree and Spooky Cat for Halloween

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the September Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada and United Kingdom! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Anastasia Radloff's blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is halloween! I decided to really s-t-r-e-t-c-h my imagination and challenged myself to use a stamp set without a halloween theme. I know you will not believe it, but my cat punch is making another appearance. (Click here to see my card from the June Blog Hop or the August Blog Hop.) The cat punch has been a great investment. It is so versatile.

You can make this super cute Halloween card featuring the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Cat Punch by Stampin' Up! #stampinup30You can make this super cute Halloween card featuring the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Cat Punch by Stampin' Up! #stampinup30

The Sheltering Tree stamp set is one of my favorite stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. I don't use it often enough. The fence is pieced together with scraps from the Wood Textures 6x6 Designer Series Paper. The sentiment stamp is from the Labels to Love stamp set that was introduced in the Holiday Catalog last year (yes, the bat flying around the moon is fussy cut from the label!). And don't you LOVE the luscious Black satin ribbon (Annual Catalog) and the new Buffalo Check background stamp from the Holiday Catalog!!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Easy to Make Handmade Card Featuring Animal Outing Stamp Set and Animal Friends Thinlits

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope you enjoyed the August blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! I had loads of fun creating my pet themed card using Animal Outing Stamp Set.

I have been slacking in posting my projects the last two weeks, but this week I thought I would share a quick card using the rhino from the Animal Outing Stamp Set and the stone image from the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies. This bundle is featured in the Animal Expedition Suite found on p. 27 of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

This card was super easy and will be super easy to recreate. You will see that I used the leaf punch which carried over from last year's Holiday Catalog that was paired with the Painted Harvest stamp set found on p. 139 of the 2018-19 annual catalog. I could have done the peek-a-boo method like my Blog Hop card, however, I decided instead to use the Layering Squares Framelits Dies. If you need any measurements or additional information for recreating this card, please feel free to message me.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

August Blog Hop Featuring Animal Outing and Animal Expedition DSP

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the August Blog Hop! I am participating in another blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Darla Roberts' blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is Anything Pets. This was a challenge for me. Even though I have a dog and two cats, I do not have any dog or cat stamps. I do have the cat punch, but I recently used it on a card for the June Blog Hop. (Click Here to check out my June post.) I could have used the Jars of Love stamp set (for the fish -- cute idea, right?), but I thought the new Animal Outing bundle (which includes the Animal Friends thinlits for a 10% discount when you purchase both) would work well for an anniversary card. This sentiment is perfect!

I made a peek-a-boo window using the Starburst punch and a Circle punch to highlight two frogs on a branch from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (DSP).  A sprinkling of hearts in Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist using the Cookie Cutter Builder punch really show the LOVE in this card. Absolutely love the trim along the left edge made from the leaf die cut. I don't know if you can tell from the photo that some of the leaves are partially cut. I just love it!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Easy to Make Handmade Card Featuring Broadway Birthday Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope you enjoyed last week's blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! I had loads of fun creating my scrapbook page. You will have to check back from time to time to see if I keep up with my scrapbooking.

This week I thought I would share a quick card and gift card holder inspired by the June Paper Pumpkin kit that coordinated with the Broadway Bound suite found on pp. 68-69 of the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

It will be really easy for you to recreate. And don't you love the alternating 2018-20 In-Colors around the marquee (the picture doesn't do it justice; I hope you can see that). Also, I wanted just a small embellishment to the left of the lower sentiment so I borrowed the star framelit from the Wood Crate Framelits. If you need any measurements or additional information for recreating this card, please feel free to message me. (I am on Instagram now too!!)

July Blog Hop Featuring Lilypad Lake Stamp Set and Lakeside Framelits

Hello my crafty friends. Welcome to the July Blog Hop! I am participating in a blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Emilie Poncelet's blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is travel and scrapbooking. I must say - I have not been bitten by the scrapbooking bug. I thought that this blog hop might just give me the push I needed.

For this project I am using a three-pocket polypropylene page protector from the Variety Pack 6" x 8" Photo Pocket Pages (p. 194, Item #144205, $6). The top two slots are 3" x 4" (trading card size).

I picked the Post Scripts Background stamp for the upper left slot and trimmed with the Best Route Washi Tape. Placeholder for the upper right slot is a piece of the Garden Impressions DSP and a cute little bow until I can find just the right photo. (Don't forget that DSP is on sale this month. See business notes at the end.)

The 4" x 6" slot is a beachy scene featuring the cool waves and sail boat stamp from the Lilypad Lake stamp set and the coordinating framelit for the sail boats. Too cute. Couldn't resist adding the Adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits die set.

I hope you have enjoyed venturing into a little scrapbooking today with me. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.
