Lilypad Lake for May Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the May Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom. You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Anastasia Radloff's blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is anything "masculine" so I picked a Father's Day card.

Lilypad Lake Shaker Card Fathers Day

This Father's Day card, although it may not be readily apparent at first glance, is a shaker card, and not just any shaker card, but a peek-a-boo shaker card using the Lilypad Lake Stamp Set.  I used the 2 1/4 Circle punch and the largest Scallop Circle die to create this shaker on the front flap. I stamped and colored two (2) sets of the sail boats. One set of the boats is "inside" the shaker with Tranquil Textures Sprinkles (hurry, these are retiring). The second set is on the inside of the card! (See below)

The top layer of DSP is from the Garden Impressions 6x6 DSP. The front of the card is further embellished with the "Celebrate" die from the Celebrate You die set and wrapped with Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon and a tiny tag with the Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine. Of course, there are several sheets of the Tranquil Textures DSP that would also work for this card, but I could not find any leftover pieces large enough to use for the front of my card. This worked just as well.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my Father's Day card. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Please check out the great idea by our next blog hopper, Shirley Merker.

Easy Handmade Card featuring the Basket Weave TIEF for Easter

Hello my crafty friends. Today I want to share with you an easy handmade card for your Easter holiday greetings.

In class this month, we made these beautiful cards using the Lovely Lattice stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and created a frame using the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies with the Gingham Gala 6x6 Designer Series Paper. (Click HERE for a link to the blog showcasing the card.) After cutting out the frame, there was a decent length of scrap left, perfect for this card.

Easy Handmade Easter Card Basket Weave Balmy Blue

The basket is from a large scrap of Sahara Sand card stock and the texture is created from a sweep of Early Espresso ink on the front flap of the Basket Weave TIEF.

All the eggs are created from scraps of bright card stock (like Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight) and punched with the smaller of the Balloon Punch or the small oval die. (Oh so cute is the cracked egg in front of the basket.)

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Forgive me for not using a current sentiment. I used one of my all time favorite retired sentiments, Easter wishes. And the ribbon is the out of stock Sale-A-Bration Heather Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack in Highland Heather.

There is still plenty of Sale-A-Bration products left and there are still 4 days to place your qualifying order to earn one, or two, or several. If you do not already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be yours!! You can reach me at my contact info below.

Hearts for All Occasions with Meant to Be Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the March Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop! I am privileged to be participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from across the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Terri Stewart's blog. Welcome one and all.

This month all our projects will feature birthdays. I wanted to try a double Z fold card and I really wanted to use the Meant to Be stamp set to show how the hearts could be used for something other than Valentine's day. This is a picture of the card front.

Hearts for All Occasions with Meant To Be Stamp Set using Balmy Blue

What do you think about this super cute DSP and that Balmy Blue heart? Love it. The card base is Lovely Lipstick cardstock.

For the inside sentiment, I stayed with the Balmy Blue to tie in with the card front. Also used a snip of the Pearlized Doily behind the heart. If you would like to see the measurements and more details, please let me know in the comments and I will share in a follow up blog post or email them to you,

September Blog Hop Featuring Sheltering Tree and Spooky Cat for Halloween

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the September Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, Canada and United Kingdom! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Anastasia Radloff's blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is halloween! I decided to really s-t-r-e-t-c-h my imagination and challenged myself to use a stamp set without a halloween theme. I know you will not believe it, but my cat punch is making another appearance. (Click here to see my card from the June Blog Hop or the August Blog Hop.) The cat punch has been a great investment. It is so versatile.

You can make this super cute Halloween card featuring the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Cat Punch by Stampin' Up! #stampinup30You can make this super cute Halloween card featuring the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Cat Punch by Stampin' Up! #stampinup30

The Sheltering Tree stamp set is one of my favorite stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. I don't use it often enough. The fence is pieced together with scraps from the Wood Textures 6x6 Designer Series Paper. The sentiment stamp is from the Labels to Love stamp set that was introduced in the Holiday Catalog last year (yes, the bat flying around the moon is fussy cut from the label!). And don't you LOVE the luscious Black satin ribbon (Annual Catalog) and the new Buffalo Check background stamp from the Holiday Catalog!!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Easy to Make Handmade Card Featuring Animal Outing Stamp Set and Animal Friends Thinlits

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope you enjoyed the August blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! I had loads of fun creating my pet themed card using Animal Outing Stamp Set.

I have been slacking in posting my projects the last two weeks, but this week I thought I would share a quick card using the rhino from the Animal Outing Stamp Set and the stone image from the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies. This bundle is featured in the Animal Expedition Suite found on p. 27 of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.

This card was super easy and will be super easy to recreate. You will see that I used the leaf punch which carried over from last year's Holiday Catalog that was paired with the Painted Harvest stamp set found on p. 139 of the 2018-19 annual catalog. I could have done the peek-a-boo method like my Blog Hop card, however, I decided instead to use the Layering Squares Framelits Dies. If you need any measurements or additional information for recreating this card, please feel free to message me.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

August Blog Hop Featuring Animal Outing and Animal Expedition DSP

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the August Blog Hop! I am participating in another blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Darla Roberts' blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is Anything Pets. This was a challenge for me. Even though I have a dog and two cats, I do not have any dog or cat stamps. I do have the cat punch, but I recently used it on a card for the June Blog Hop. (Click Here to check out my June post.) I could have used the Jars of Love stamp set (for the fish -- cute idea, right?), but I thought the new Animal Outing bundle (which includes the Animal Friends thinlits for a 10% discount when you purchase both) would work well for an anniversary card. This sentiment is perfect!

I made a peek-a-boo window using the Starburst punch and a Circle punch to highlight two frogs on a branch from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (DSP).  A sprinkling of hearts in Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist using the Cookie Cutter Builder punch really show the LOVE in this card. Absolutely love the trim along the left edge made from the leaf die cut. I don't know if you can tell from the photo that some of the leaves are partially cut. I just love it!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Easy to Make Handmade Card Featuring Broadway Birthday Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. Hope you enjoyed last week's blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! I had loads of fun creating my scrapbook page. You will have to check back from time to time to see if I keep up with my scrapbooking.

This week I thought I would share a quick card and gift card holder inspired by the June Paper Pumpkin kit that coordinated with the Broadway Bound suite found on pp. 68-69 of the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

It will be really easy for you to recreate. And don't you love the alternating 2018-20 In-Colors around the marquee (the picture doesn't do it justice; I hope you can see that). Also, I wanted just a small embellishment to the left of the lower sentiment so I borrowed the star framelit from the Wood Crate Framelits. If you need any measurements or additional information for recreating this card, please feel free to message me. (I am on Instagram now too!!)

July Blog Hop Featuring Lilypad Lake Stamp Set and Lakeside Framelits

Hello my crafty friends. Welcome to the July Blog Hop! I am participating in a blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the United States, United Kingdom and Canada! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Emilie Poncelet's blog. Welcome one and all.

The theme for our blog hop this month is travel and scrapbooking. I must say - I have not been bitten by the scrapbooking bug. I thought that this blog hop might just give me the push I needed.

For this project I am using a three-pocket polypropylene page protector from the Variety Pack 6" x 8" Photo Pocket Pages (p. 194, Item #144205, $6). The top two slots are 3" x 4" (trading card size).

I picked the Post Scripts Background stamp for the upper left slot and trimmed with the Best Route Washi Tape. Placeholder for the upper right slot is a piece of the Garden Impressions DSP and a cute little bow until I can find just the right photo. (Don't forget that DSP is on sale this month. See business notes at the end.)

The 4" x 6" slot is a beachy scene featuring the cool waves and sail boat stamp from the Lilypad Lake stamp set and the coordinating framelit for the sail boats. Too cute. Couldn't resist adding the Adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits die set.

I hope you have enjoyed venturing into a little scrapbooking today with me. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Quick and Easy Handmade Thank You Card Using Varied Vases Bundle

Trying to get back on my schedule of posting every Wednesday so just a quick card today.  This cute little 3x3 card is my thank you card for all online customer orders this month. The Varied Vases Stamp Set and coordinating Vase Builder Punch makes it so easy. The border around the entire card base is the Best Route Washi Tape.

I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the specials this month so check out the "Business" section below. But, most importantly, if you have ever thought that you might like to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, now is the time! It is $99 for the starter kit (your choice of product valued at $125), free shipping, and one (1) color collection of the ink pads (worth $67.50). That is a savings of just over $100! I would love for you to join my team - You cannot pass this up!
