Quick and Easy Handmade Thank You Card Using Varied Vases Bundle

Trying to get back on my schedule of posting every Wednesday so just a quick card today.  This cute little 3x3 card is my thank you card for all online customer orders this month. The Varied Vases Stamp Set and coordinating Vase Builder Punch makes it so easy. The border around the entire card base is the Best Route Washi Tape.

I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the specials this month so check out the "Business" section below. But, most importantly, if you have ever thought that you might like to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, now is the time! It is $99 for the starter kit (your choice of product valued at $125), free shipping, and one (1) color collection of the ink pads (worth $67.50). That is a savings of just over $100! I would love for you to join my team - You cannot pass this up!

Finally, I have to close my order for mailing customer copies of the Holiday catalog by the end of the month. So hurry and place an order if you have not placed an order yet this year and I will add you to the list. I do not want you to miss out!

You Can Do It | Recipe for Detailed with Love Handmade Card

Today I would like to show you how you can make this quick and easy card using the Detailed with Love stamp set, a small strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and two (2) oval dies.

The card base is half a sheet of 8 1/2" by 11" Crumb Cake card stock, scored at 4 1/4" for a side folding, portrait card. Before adding the layer of Night of Navy card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4", secure a strip of the new Garden Impressions DSP -- I am totally in love with this DSP!! -- measuring approximately 2" by 5 1/2" along the left side of the card front, and wrap around the layer a 14" long piece of Night of Navy baker's twine and tie in a sweet, small bow just left of center. Then adhere this layer to the card base.

To create the embellishment, the sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy Classic Ink on Whisper White card stock. Now I had no trouble getting a perfect image, but if you have the new Stamparatus stamp positioning tool, there will be no question that you will have the most perfect image. If after you stamp this sentiment from the negative you are not satisfied with the saturation, you will just ink up the sentiment again and stamp it in exactly the same spot for a perfect sentiment.

Cut the sentiment with an oval from the coordinating Layering Ovals Thinlits Dies. Cut a slightly larger scallop edge oval from the Layering Ovals Thinlits Dies. Secure the two together using your favorite adhesive. Maybe you would like to pop up the embellishment with some Stampin' Dimensionals to give the card some depth.

Be sure to stamp a lovely sentiment on the inside of your card as well. I am certain your card is perfect!!

Pick a Pennant Card using the new Stamparatus

Today I am sharing a cute card I made using the new Pick a Pennant stamp set teamed with the new Stamparatus. The stamp set is bundled with the Playful Pennants Framelits Dies, however, I did not use the framelits in making this card. (Did you notice that this month's host code image uses the Pick a Pennant stamps?)

Don't you love the new 2018-20 In Colors?. The card base is Pineapple Punch, a vibrant yellow. The main image is layered on Lovely Lipstick cut at 5 1/4" x 4". Each banner is stamped in Pineapple Punch and the flags are stamped with Lovely Lipstick or alternating Call Me Clover/Blueberry Bushel. (The 5th In Color - Grapefruit Grove does not make an appearance on this card.)

Have you tried the new Stamparatus yet? I would be delighted to demonstrate the use of this fantastic stamp positioning tool at a workshop for you and your friends. It is simply awesome.

Thank you for stopping in to catch up on my cardmaking today! Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

Happy to report coordination between Stampin' Up! and Paper Pumpkin. Starting with the June Paper Pumpkin, the kits will coordinate with the Broadway Bound suite on p. 68-69 of the 2018-2019 annual catalog. This will spark your creativity!
