Easy Handmade Card Featuring Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. I just wanted to take a minute to show you this quick and easy handmade card using the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and Butterfly Duet Punch. This card was featured in my virtual class on April 25 (link to Facebook). Easy and FUN!! There is no limit to the number of ways to show off this stamp set and (any) designer series paper. Oops, I forgot that the Come Sail Away DSP retired yesterday - suggested replacement is a sheet from the Night of Navy from the Neutrals Collection 6x6 DSP Assortments.

Important announcement:  Today is the first day of the new 2020-21 Annual Catalog. (I hope you received your copy in the mail. If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator already, message me and I will send you a catalog to you pronto.) Easy Handmade Card Featuring Butterfly Gala Stamp Set

Hello, my crafty friends. As you may recall, I have recently decided to use punches more and more in my stamping. This week I decided to recreate a card from July when the Butterfly Gala stamp set and Butterfly Duet punch were carried over to the 2019-20 Annual Catalog. I have paired it with the beautiful Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration. (I hope you were able to earn multiple sets of this beautiful DSP!)

The card base is a side fold (cut 5.5 x 8.5, scored at 4.25) Whisper White cardstock. The next layer is Rococo Rose cardstock (cut 5.25 x 4) topped with a piece of the beautiful Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (cut 5 x 3.75). After stamping the butterflies in Tuxedo Black ink, the butterfly wings were stamped with the "fill" images using the Rococo Rose ink. Use the Butterfly Duet to punch out the butterflies and pop them up using dimensionals. I used the 2" Circle punch and the Starburst punch for the main sentiment (also popped up with dimensionals). Both sentiments are from this stamp set (I LOVE THAT!).

The card is finished with a super cute double bow using the Linen Thread and a coordinating gem.

This is really a quick and easy card and was the subject of my "practice" Facebook Live this past Saturday. You should check it out. I did not provide dimensions in the broadcast, but now you have them!
