Quick and Easy Holiday Gift Tags with Tidings and Trimmings Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Happy holidays. Just a quick post today for an update on my holiday cards. Finally finished this past weekend. Whew!! I was able to complete my list with the cards from the October Paper Pumpkin kit (Peaceful Christmas). They were so pretty.

Now this week I have been busy making gift tags! The quickest way to accomplish this is to use one of the Tag Topper punches - Fancy Tag Topper or Delightful Tag Topper. This image shows the tags I made using the retired Scallop Tag Topper, but they all work the same.

I mixed and matched several stamp sets: Tidings & Trimmings, Banner Year, Perfectly Plaid, Time of Giving. I also used the November Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set (Gifts Galore)! 

Finishing touches: (not shown) Each tag was finished with red ribbon.

Quick and Easy Holiday Card featuring Candy Canes Cling Stamp

Hello my crafty friends! I think you can agree that now that November is finally here, it is time to begin making our holiday cards - for real. Let's start off pretty simple and easy with the Candy Canes Cling Stamp.

The card base is a side fold, landscape A2 (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Basic White cardstock. The candy canes are stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock cut 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and layered on Real Red cardstock cut 3 3/4" x 5".

The "Seasons Greetings" sentiment is from the Time of Giving stamp set stamped in Real Red on Basic White cardstock cut 1 1/8" x 2 1/2" and layered on Real Red cardstock die cut from the Stitched Rectangles (scrap @ least 1 1/2" x 2 3/4").

The bow is a fake bow created by tying a piece of Linen Thread around a scrap of the Real Red Sheer Ribbon. A couple of holly leaves from the Holly Punch is the finishing touch.

Seriously, Just One More Quick and Easy Card Featuring Cutest Halloween Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! I know I said last week just one more quick and easy card featuring the Cutest Halloween stamp set, but I thought - why not another! I think you will agree it is totally cute.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Old Olive cardstock. The next layer is a sheet from Cute Halloween DSP, cut 4" x 5 1/4", and then cut across the center a little more than half resulting in two pieces measuring 3" and 2 1/4" across. Adhere the larger piece on the bottom and the smaller on top. Use two scraps of coordinating color strips of varying widths to cover the seam. 

Here's more: I found the spider web and the sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set (AC p. 95). Embellishment assist by the Layering Circles Dies and my favorite ribbon! The super cute skeleton is fussy cut from a scrap of the Cute Halloween DSP.

Just One More Quick and Easy Card Featuring Cutest Halloween Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! How about just one more quick and easy card featuring the Cutest Halloween stamp set!! I have a couple of punches lined up to help out.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Highland Heather cardstock. The next layer is a sheet from Cute Halloween DSP, cut 4" x 5 1/4", and then cut in a little more than half resulting in two pieces measuring 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" across. Adhere the wider piece (2 1/2") on the left side of the front panel, then flip the narrow piece (1 1/2") and adhere to the right side of the front panel. A thin strip of Highland Heather (approximately 1/4") will hide the seam perfectly. Don't forget to color the "candy" with various Stampin' Blends.

To decorate the card front, I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to frame the three windows of Halloween cuteness. The traditional Halloween chant of "trick or treat" is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in white on a build of the Heart Punch Pack.

I am still gathering everyone's ideas for our holiday card making. Plus this Saturday, October 2, is World Card Making Day. I was thinking about a quick Facebook Live in the morning to stamp a card and chat about what everyone else is making.

Quick and Easy Card Featuring Cutest Halloween Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Can you believe September is almost over? Recently I  have taken some time off from blogging, but I am ready to knuckle down and get cranking on some cards. Let's start with this cute Halloween fun fold card.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 (5 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 1 3/4", 5 1/2", 9 3/4") in Basic Gray cardstock. These score lines (and following measurements) were shared by fellow SU Demonstrator Dena Rekow in her August video. Be sure to burnish these score lines with a bone folder. The final card size will be 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and fits in our medium envelopes.

The DSP pieces are cut 1 1/2" x 5 1/4", 1" x 5 1/4", 3 1/2" x 5 1/4". I think you will see where these pieces will fit nicely on the card panels, and be sure to watch the direction of the images on your DSP. The belly band is a 1" x 11" strip of Basic Gray, topped with a die panel from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

It is time to start planning those holiday cards my friends! I am going to trying to focus mainly on holiday cards from now until the Christmas.If you need help designing a card with supplied you have on hand, let me know - I would love to help.
