Sending Love this Valentine’s Day

Hello my crafty friends. Hope you are ready to start thinking about Valentine’s day cards! The Sending Love stamp set is a beautiful carry over stamp set with coordinating dies. The main image is the 3D mailbox featuring a moving carrier signal flag. Happy Valentine’s Day!!

(Not a very professional looking picture, it was a gloomy day today. If I have an opportunity to retake it, I will replace this one.)

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  If you don’t have the retired cloud punch, you could swap out the Balmy Blue background with Basic White and create some wispy clouds using a sponge dauber and Balmy Blue ink.

I (HEART):  Love that the mailbox die already has the hole to connect the carrier signal flag with a brad. No pressure in getting these to line up manually!! 😊

Happy Holidays 2024

Hello my crafty friends. It was a mad dash to the end, but I was able to finish up holiday cards and crafts in the “Nick” of time. For my personal cards this year, I used both the cards from the October Paper Pumpkin kit (love the collection of birds and the tri-fold card bases) and this super cute card using the Humble Home stamp set and punch!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  I mailed cards in batches this year and this is a quick photo of the final batch. I kept this card simple. The white craft ink needed time to dry. Then it was an assembly line to put them together.

I (HEART):  The Real Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermint bling is my favorite!! 😊

Turns Out, Humble Home Bundle is my Favorite

Hello my crafty friends. We have had several months of workshops centered on our holiday cards. Turns out, the Humble Home Stamp Set and Punch, with the festive house (including the holiday wreath and the tiny, sweet font holiday sentiment) is my favorite. Check it out!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  This card is a simple tag card; and you may notice I used a retired embossing folder and ribbon. The strip of holiday print could be any size to use up those scraps.

I (HEART):  The teeny tiny font for the Merry Christmas sentiment (not used on this card) is so sweet – adorable! 😊

Holiday Tag Card

Hello my crafty friends. Have you finished up those holiday cards yet? Like me, you probably have loads of left over Designer Series Paper, which leads us to this “tag” card. Notice that I used the Perennial Postage dies to create the fancy edges, but a straight cut with your paper trimmer will look just as sharp!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  This is a great pattern to save for any card, not just holiday cards.

Country Birdhouse Thank You Card

Hello my crafty friends. I had several holiday card kits left over from the last couple of months so I spent a minute studying this particular card kit to see if I could come up with a non-holiday card. The County Birdhouse stamp set is perfect for this card as there are many color combinations. So versatile!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  I was also able to use the leftovers from our Country Birdhouse card kit too. Again, so versatile!

Penguins for the Holidays

Hello my crafty friends. My workshops for the last couple of months have been mainly focused on holiday cards and we are quickly running out of time to complete our holiday projects. I am recommending starting now if you haven’t yet! Today’s card combines stamps from three different stamp sets, Merriest Trees (a carryover stamp set from last year’s holiday catalog), Iconic Images (an online exclusive stamp set) and Choose Happy, featuring the penguins – show stealer for sure!

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  The penguin from the Choose Happy stamp set is a super cute accent to this holiday tag.

Paper Pumpkin Party

Hello my crafty friends. Paper Pumpkin kits seem to be piling up. So, when my sister was coming here for a visit last weekend, I asked her bring along some of her kits, I invited another demonstrator friend over, and the three of us spent the afternoon putting together our Paper Pumpkin kits. Great cards. Great fun.

RANDOM THOUGHTS:  And you know we can’t just put them together as planned! Swapping parts around and pulling in sentiments/dies from our stash, made it even more fun.
