Paper Crafting Blog Hop

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the June Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from across the globe! You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Krissi Hannahs' blog (great project, Krissi!). Welcome one and all.

Happy Birthday is the June theme and we are featuring products from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog. There are so many excellent choices, but I am in LOVE with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.

I enjoyed coloring the large sunflower with the Stampin' Blends. Of course, if you were making a "short stack" of cards, maybe for a gift, you could skip this coloring step and stamp the sunflower on the new Bumblebee cardstock. The background is the Buffalo Check Background Stamp, inked in Night of Navy, and stamped on the new Misty Moonlight cardstock (5" x 3 3/4") and matted on the new Cinnamon Cider cardstock (5 1/4" x 4").

The inside is a simple sentiment "Birthday Wishes" from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set, accompanied by a die cue of the small sunflower stamp.

As always, thank you for stopping by my blog today! Feel free to leave a positive comment below with a trail to find you and your creations out on the "www" - I look forward to it!. Do not forget to check out the great project by our next blog hopper, Sue McDonald.

  1. Great card. I also am loving the new Celebrate Sunflower set and dies, and am constantly playing with it. I have been embossing it and coloring it as it is big and easier to sponge with daubers and save my blends. :) I love the use of the new in colors on your card as well. Great inspiration and ideas. Thank you

    1. Thank you, Maureen. The #sunflowers seem to be quickly replacing the poppies.
