I haven't shared a simple stamping card in a couple of months so I thought I would create a card today using the parameters of the Simple Stamping Challenge. August is back to the true basics: stamps, ink and paper. The theme can be anything, but the project must feature a Sale-A-Bration (SAB) item. There are so many awesome free products in the SAB catalog - tough choice. I picked the Textures & Frames stamp set, which may not be at the top of your wish list. I think it is the "sleeper" of the catalog. You should reconsider selecting Textures & Frames stamp set.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Basic White cardstock. I chose the brushstrokes image to make the pattern along the left side of the card base. The circle image is stamped a little lower than midway on the right side. The sentiment is from one of my favorite holiday stamp sets, Banner Year. You can see I broke up the sentiment so that it would fit inside the circle. Then I scattered a couple leaves around the sentiment circle and one falling leaf. Super cute.
