Quick and Easy Card Featuring the Teacups in the Tea Boutique DSP

Hello my crafty friends! I was unable to post on my regular schedule this week so today it will be. 

Several weeks ago I was playing with the the new in color papers and coordinating in color designer series paper that I received in my preorder. They are such deep colors. I think you will love them. My card design sort of follows a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches. (FMS#533, Apr. 27, 22)

The sentiment is from the Cup of Tea Stamp Set. The die cut hearts are from the coordinating Teacup dies.

Quick and Easy Card Featuring Cup of Tea Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Hope you are enjoying the new 2022-23 Annual Catalog. I know I am. I want to show you a quick card I made using some of the accent stamps in the gorgeous Cup of Tea stamp set.

This card is super easy and super cute. The style is classified as casual; it still has layers, yet it is not overly difficult. Take a sheet of Basic White Cardstock (8 1/2 x 11, score the 8 1/2 edge, from top to bottom at 4 1/4, and cut the 11" edge, side to side at 5 1/2), and fold in half for an A2 card base. On another 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the stems/leaves image in the new in color Parakeet Party, then stamp the flowers in the new in color Sweet Sorbet. I used a smoosh (very technical term for inking up a block!) in the new in color Tahitian Tide to create the sky. Adhere a small die-cut flower and add a sentiment. You could even add an in color Opal Round or two to finish.
