Hello, my crafty friends. We are closing in on the Thanksgiving holiday here in the States - Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Today I thought I would share a quick and easy winter birthday card featuring Stampin' Up! Winter Woods and Dashing Deer Stamp Sets.
The base is Crumb Cake Cardstock and the layer build is 1) Shaded Spruce (5.25" x 4") and 2) Crumb Cake (5" x 3.75"). The trees are from the Winter Woods Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Classic Ink. The embellishment build uses a Scallop Circle Die from the Layering Circles Die collection and the 2.25" Circle Punch behind those super cute deer. Hard to see in this picture, but I colored over the deer with the Wink of Stella for some pizzazz!
This card could easily convert to a holiday card with a splash of Real Red or Cherry Cobbler!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my quick and easy winter birthday card using the Winter Woods and Dashing Deer Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

November Paper Crafting Blog Hop
Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the November Paper Crafting Blog Hop! I am participating in this blog hop with several fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the United States, Australia and United Kingdom. You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Sandra Roberts' blog. (Well done, Sandra!!) Welcome one and all.
This month's theme is December Holidays so I have designed a simple card around this beautiful sentiment from Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set, which carried over from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. I also used the Pine Tree Punch and the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog.
The trees are bedazzled with the Snowflake Sequins - so pretty - and follow along a handcut snow hill that is embossed in the Swirls & Curls EF, which also carried over from last year's Holiday Catalog. (Hard to see the Wink of Stella on my snow hill, but it is there and it is so pretty!)
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my card featuring the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations. Do not forget to check out the great project by our next blog hopper, Sue McDonald.

Quick and Easy Card Using Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday and Bird Ballad DSP
Hello, my crafty friends. Today is a short and sweet post about this quick and easy birthday card featuring Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and the beautiful Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.
The base card is Whisper White Cardstock and the layer build is 1) Pool Party (5.25" x 4") embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D EF and 2) a strip of the Bird Ballad DSP (5.25" x 2.25"). The embellishment build is a trimmed Pearlized Doily, a 1" Circle Punch of Pool Party, and one fussy cut, large flower adorned with a Flower Faceted Gem and cute, double-strand bow of Baker's Twine. The ends of the sentiment have been flagged using the "reverse" edges of the Classic Label Punch. (I hope you will pardon the use of my all-time favorite, retired, Pool Party Glitter Trim. I only bring it out on special occasions!)

Easy Handmade Holiday Card Using Stampin' Up! Making Christmas Bright
Hello, my crafty friends. It is the first Wednesday of November and today I am featuring another holiday card to help inspire you to get started on your holiday cards. My quick and simple card today features the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set and coordinating Christmas Bulb Builder Punch introduced in the 2018 Holiday Catalog and available in the 2019-20 Annual Catalog.
In keeping with the "spirit" of making "a lot" of holiday cards, once again this is a fairly basic design concept. The base card is Whisper White Cardstock and the layer build is 1) Shaded Spruce (5.25" x 4") and 2) Whisper White (5" x 3.75"). Stamp 2 rows of the string of lights and 1 curve black line for "hanging" the Christmas bulbs punched from the 2018-20 In Colors (I used Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove), Shaded Spruce and Gold Foil for the base.
The build on the bottom is an angled-cut piece of the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper, a thin strip of Gold Foil Sheet, and an even thinner strip of Shaded Spruce. The sentiment is fussy cut. Sorry about that, but you could make the angled section a little larger and use one of the smaller rectangle die. :) The trunk of the Pine Tree Punch is wrapped with Linen Thread tied with a cute little bow.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my card featuring the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations.

October Simple Stamping Challenge Using Country Home Stamp Set
Hello, my crafty friends. Last week on my blog I featured a quick and easy handmade card using the Country Home Stamp Set (click HERE in case you missed it). It was my submission for the monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop I participate in with several other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. It is a fun group of demonstrators from the US and other countries and we have a great time showing you (and each other) our ideas, tips and tricks.
Today I thought it might be fun to try a Simple Stamping Challenge by Stamping Up a/k/a #simplestamping. The October challenge is to create a card using stamps, ink, paper, and punches. The theme is "Thank You."
My card features the beautiful floral arrangement on the "inside" of a Whisper White Note Card and I used the 2" circle punch on the front panel to create negative space, i.e. the peek-a-boo effect (hum, really hard to see in this photo though, my apologies). I finished the opening with a frame of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock double-punched with the 2-1/4" and 2" circle punches. Color is added to the floral arrangement with a Blender Pen and several ink pads (see the supplies list below). An alternative would have been to use the Stampin' Write Markers or the Stampin' Blends, however, I was unsure if Markers or Blends would be considered "ink" under the rules of the challenge.
This photo is the original design. It is exactly the same as the card above except it eliminates the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock frame around the peek-a-boo effect and the edges are sponged with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have enjoyed my #simplestamping card featuring the Country Home Stamp Set. I know that I have enjoyed sharing it with you.

October Paper Crafting Blog Hop
Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome to the October Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Once again I am participating in this blog hop with several fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the United States, Australia and United Kingdom. You might be starting the blog hop right now, or you may be coming from Sue Boerner's blog. Welcome one and all.
This month's theme is Fall or Thanksgiving so I have chosen the Country Home stamp set (AC p. 95). This beautiful floral arrangement showcases the Stampin' Blends. See a full list of the colors below.
The crosshatch effect in the background was created by swiping Balmy Blue ink across the Subtle 3D embossing folder and running it through the die cutting machine twice - once in portrait mode and once in landscape. PS: I did mask the finished milk jug image first.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I sure hope you have enjoyed my card featuring Country Home Stamp Set. Leave a comment below with a trail to find you so I can see your creations. Do not forget to check out the great project by our next blog hopper, Sue McDonald.
