Stampin' Up! Color Refresh 2013-14

Stampin' Up! fulfills its promise and announces new colors and retirement of several favorites :< with its Color Refresh for the 2013-2014 catty.

The one new color is called Smoky Slate. Best Friends Are Like Fabulous Shoes Using Stampin’ Up! New 2012-2014 In Color Collection, Fabulous You Stamp Set and Scallop Circle Punch

This card is created using Stampin’ Up! Fabulous You Stamp Set (SS) and Stampin Up! 2012-14 In Color Collection. It almost felt like a “math project” (although divine, the triangles are tricky) and uses the new 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch and a standard 1” circle punch from the main Idea Book and Catalog (IBC).  This card kit is $35.00 (U.S.)* and includes instructions and the following:

• Pre-cut and/or punched card stock to make 10-4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards (landscape/left-side fold)
• Pre-cut ribbon (coordinating Primrose Petals 3/8” Satin Stitched Ribbon)

This card is created using Stampin’ Up! Bird Builder punch, Boho Blossom punch, and other basic punches (1” circle, scallop circle, scallop edge).

This card kit is $20.00 (U.S.)* and includes instructions and the following:

Welcome 2013!

I hope that things have started to get back to normal for you after the crazy schedules we keep during the holidays. The holidays remain my favorite time of the year -- even if there isn't snow on the ground and a nip in the air.

With the new year, there are plenty of things happening at Stampin' Up! This year marks 25 years of doing business for Stampin' Up! There are so many things going on and I can't wait to tell you all about it. The spring catalog (released Jan. 3) is chock full of fantastic ideas.

Holiday Catalog Release

It's here!!  The Holiday Catalog is now available.  There are so many fabulous projects that it will be hard to make a choice.  But a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do.  I hope you take a minute to take a peak.

This is huge, too!  In addition to the update to MDS (My Digital Studio), MDS2 is available for a free trial to first-time users.

Convention 2012 -- I am...

...exhausted. Got in from convention late Sunday night. Tried to catch up on everything on Monday before back at work yesterday today (posted after midnight). Wow! I am...exhausted.

Stampin' Up! Convention is in a month...

Certainly excited to be attending my first convention with Stampin' Up! in Salt Lake City, Utah next month. In the process of designing and putting together my swaps. May need to recruit some help to put it all together in time. Unfortunately, we will need to reschedule stamp club to the Saturday after our normal weekend. We should also start planning our holiday cards and place our order. Give it some thought, okay. Still looking to start up a scrapbook club to meet once a month too. Greetings Valentine

Oh, I so love valentine’s day. My cards are ready. How about you?

January Stamp Club was a huge success!! What great fun. We had 2 special “long distance” guests - Violet brought along her very good friend who was visiting from Minnesota and a very good friend of mine traveled from Jacksonville to join us. If it is not obvious, we made valentine’s day cards!! I think everyone is ready for the holiday now!

This month’s workshop is Saturday, February 18 @ 1 PM at my house. Sure hope you can make it, and please call me if you can so that I can make sure that I have everything set up for you so you can get started once you arrive.
