Hello my crafty friends! I was unable to post on my regular schedule this week so today it will be. 

Several weeks ago I was playing with the the new in color papers and coordinating in color designer series paper that I received in my preorder. They are such deep colors. I think you will love them. My card design sort of follows a sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches. (FMS#533, Apr. 27, 22)

The sentiment is from the Cup of Tea Stamp Set. The die cut hearts are from the coordinating Teacup dies.

Quick and Easy Card Featuring Cup of Tea Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Hope you are enjoying the new 2022-23 Annual Catalog. I know I am. I want to show you a quick card I made using some of the accent stamps in the gorgeous Cup of Tea stamp set.

This card is super easy and super cute. The style is classified as casual; it still has layers, yet it is not overly difficult. Take a sheet of Basic White Cardstock (8 1/2 x 11, score the 8 1/2 edge, from top to bottom at 4 1/4, and cut the 11" edge, side to side at 5 1/2), and fold in half for an A2 card base. On another 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the stems/leaves image in the new in color Parakeet Party, then stamp the flowers in the new in color Sweet Sorbet. I used a smoosh (very technical term for inking up a block!) in the new in color Tahitian Tide to create the sky. Adhere a small die-cut flower and add a sentiment. You could even add an in color Opal Round or two to finish.

Quick and Easy Card Featuring Daisy Lane Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Today's card focuses on the retiring 2020-22 in colors, the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, and the Tailored Tag Punch.

I kept my card fairly simple. It is super cute. (My lighting is not the best though.) There are many ways to have stepped it up. I could have used the another daisy stamp and the coordinating medium daisy punch or an embossing folder for the background. What would you have done?

Easter Wishes with Timeless Tulips Stamp Set

Easter Wishes to all my crafty friends! This is a sneak peek of my Easter card using the sentiment from the retiring Timeless Tulips Stamp Set. I used two varying sizes of the Tailor Made Tags for the sentiment accented with the Medium Daisy Punch in Bumblebee CS and the gorgeous gold ribbon. Super cute and simple card.

The Flowering Tulip and coordinating dies from the 22 mini catalog will replace this stamp set.

Hello my crafty friends! Check out this quick and easy card using the Hello Ladybug Stamp Set and coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch. Super cute, simple and just a fun card to put together.

Hello Ladybug Stamp Set Card #1

The background design for this A2 card was created using the Blending Brushes and the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Decorative Masks. I used the 2020-22 in color (Bumblebee) which retires at the end of the month.

This second card was one of my March workshop cards. I used the Blending Brushes again to create the soft colors behind the column of ladybugs.

Valentine's Day and Noteworthy News

Hello, my crafty friends. Are you ready for Valentine's Day? Whew, I am ready, but, of course, my card for my special someone must remain under wraps yet. Today, I wanted to share this card using the parameters of the February Simple Stamping Challenge -- Stamps, Ink, Paper, plus a Punch.

Some of you may recognize my card design which is very similar to last week's Freshly Made Sketch, #FMS521. I did need to hide the seams from the four DSP panels with the strips of Highland Heather cardstock so it is not quite identical to the sketch.

Quick and Easy Card Featuring Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Trying out the sketch from last week's Freshly Made Sketches (FMS 519) with the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. Super simple and super cute.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 card (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Basic White. The balloon images are stamped on a die cut from the second largest scallop rectangle die from the Scalloped Contours Dies. The balloons are colored using Stampin' Blends.

Super easy and super cute card.

Quick and Easy Handmade Card Using Rainbow of Happiness Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends! Take a look at this beauty from the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. The coordinating Brilliant Rainbow Dies has this fantastic rainbow edge die. Too cute.

The card base is a side fold, portrait A2 card (8 1/2" x 11" sheet, scored at 4 1/4" and cut in half at 5 1/2") in Basic White. To show off a beautiful strip of  DSP on the inside panel, trim off 1" from the front, right panel. Adhere the rainbow edge die strip to the 3" wide embossed panel placed 1/8" from the left edge (or adjust to your specific measurement).

The colors of my rainbow were chosen from the coordinating Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper - Sunshine & Rainbows, and include Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay and So Saffron. I think these colors worked well together. 

Finishing touches: I stamped several of the small "raining" hearts image and adhered a small die cut cloud using a mini dimensional.

Super easy and super cute card.
